I am trying to build a workflow wherein as soon as a Product manager creates a Story in Jira, some tickets get added under the Story which could be - Android, iOS, Backend, QA tasks.
And based on the type of task, for example the newly added 'QA Task', appears in the QA backlog.
You can't do this OOTB you will need an scripting or automation addon for this. Laura has offered one solution and you can check the Marketplace for others. Some frequented solutions include - Scriptrunner, Automation for Jira, Power Scripts, etc.

Hi,
The app Elements Copy & Sync could help you with that since you can configure linked issue creation as a post-function. The app lets you configure which fields from the source issue (the Story) you want to copy into target issues (the tasks for Android, iOS, etc).
If you want to see an example of how this can work, there's a blog post: https://blog.valiantys.com/en/guest/automate-sub-task-creation-in-jira-with-elements-copy-sync/
The post shows creating sub-tasks, but you can specify any issue type you need to create.
Hope that helps!
