Can i create a role with permissions to only update tickets from a particular queue/component JiraSD

I am working on jira service desk.

I want people in a role/group to only be able to update and close tickets for a particular component or only issues in a particular queue.

People may be able to view all issues in the project but not update or edit those. Can i create a role for that.

How should i go about this task.

I found a way using Issue security but that doesn't seem to be a business solution for this problem.

I would have a separate project for each - then you can control who can manage your queue and the issues in it by limiting the service desk team members.

If you want others to view only the issues you can set up a role that has 'browse' permissions and no edit permissions.
