Can the default comment text be modified?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

When I add a comment to a request in service desk (v3.0.5), the following text is pre-populated:

"Hi [Full Name of Reporter],

 

– [Commenter's Full Name]"

 

Can this default text be modified?  We would like to use First Names instead of Full Names.

If you just want to disable the pre-populated comment, agents can do that in their profile.
