Comment linked issue (JMWE) not sending customer notification

Is this a regular way this plugin works? I have set send notification option, I see comment is added, but no notification is sent (testing with my private mail). Other notifications are received normally, when I comment the issue I receive the notification. 

Just want to know should it work or it is not supposed to work, that's all. Thanks in advance

Notifications should be sent (except to the author of the comment, unless they have configured self-notifications on the Jira Profile page). Please open a support ticket (see http://www.innovalog.com/support for details).
