Hi All,
I have been working on a new knowledge base to sit along side the service desk which we will be moving over to (ETA end of May)
I have been on annual leave for a few days, come back and the space no longer exists? (or at least the landing/home page doesn't). Luckily I still have all my articles as they are saved in my activity history!!
I came across a post in 2016 that suggests that N upgrade to Jira may be at fault...any thoughts?
I'm struggling to find a away to fix this as all articles are still sitting within this "ghost" space but when I try and set the space home it keeps going round in an endless loop of telling me how awkward it is because it doesn't exist.
how did this happen? how do i fix it and should i be concerned that this will happen again when we roll out to our customer base - its not filling me with confidence after talking my team into moving over from a competitor!
Thank you Victor/Louis - i've raised a ticket with Atlassian support as it seems to be a bug (my dev guys have also taken a look!). Thanks for your help, i will respond to the chain when i know whats happened
Thank You.

As I understand the other pages are still in there? Search for a space administrator and ask him/her to create a new start page for that space with the Space Properties.

Hi Louis,
I am an administrator level user and built the original space.
I am trying to avoid starting again as although the pages are still obtainable in my personal activity history, it would mean a lot of copying/pasting and organisation again (unless i'm missing an easier way of doing this?)

f you go to any of the pages from your history, do you end up in the space with the other pages in the left column?

Larissa,
It could be that you don't have VIEW permission for the space.

I am an administrator level user - permissions are not the issues

Larissa,
Is the spaces showing on the dashboard but not space directory?

No - the knowledge base I created actually shows in the Space Directory but when I click to enter/view the space into it i get the "this is awkward" message.
