Copy Assets User Object Field data to Approvers Custom Field

Hi team,

I have an assets custom field which fetches Users data. I need to set the value of this Assets field in Jira Custom field "Approvers" (multi-user) based on another Assets Field value which contains - X, Y, Z options.

We use Automation and ScriptRunner.

Please let me know if this can be achieved.

You need to pass an array of user keys to Approvers field as i remember. You can achieve this with scriptrunner. i think automation also. it depends of course on what kind of data you have in assets field. if u keep assets user object with mapped jira user on it you can get user and it's user key
