Daily Ticket Count - Backlog Report

I am trying to create a report in Jira, that will give a daily count of all tickets of a certain type, I need to chart this for the last 90 days so that we can clearly see a backlog of cases. 

I need to do this without a plugin

Hello Tara,

You can use VisualScript for Jira to do this.  We have a lot of different chart types, like stacked area and line charts, and in the parameters you can add additional JQL filtering to view the last 90d only.
