Hello!
I would like to create a dynamic list of projects in order to create an EazyBI dashboard.
The goal is to show only active projects (that are set in various filters in Jira) and create a dashboard analysis for those.
Logic says, either set the source dynamically, or base the members on the filter.
Can this be done?
Thank you for your input!
Hi @Irene,
It is possible and the solution depends on your setup.
If you only want to report on currently active projects and you can filter them via JQL - you might use that JQL for data import. Please read more about that here - https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/data-import/data-from-jira#DatafromJira-JQLqueryfilter.
Depending on how projects are marked as active or inactive "(that are set in various filters in Jira)", you might create an aggregated calculated member that evaluates the projects to see if they fit the report needs. If you do not want to display these projects - you might perform calculations within the measures in reports.
The solution highly depends on your setup and the complexity of the dashboard or reports within.
Please share more details about your setup to assist you with a proper solution.
