Emails are not sent to developers

Stas Oskin December 17, 2011

Hi.

We have the 4.4.3 version of Jira, SMTP is configured fine, test email arrives to me fine.

But creating/assigning/updating issues are not sending any notification.

The default notification scheme is intact, also there are no security issues levels defined.

Thanks.

Hi.

We solved this by creating an AD user with same email as Jira user.

Regards.

Check the 'notify me of my actions', if you havent, JIRA wont tell you about your changes.

Check your error queue, if you're quick you will see mails in your outbound queue, or failing that the error queue. Failing all that, check your logs for the cause (probably an exception occurring)...

Does the project associate to the notification scheme? Can you also please check that the workflow for the project has included with the Issue Create, Issue Assigned, Issue Updated event in the post-function?
