In JIRA 5.0 the CSV import (external system import) does not allow me to map a field in my CSV file to a Multi User Picker field. It simply isn't an option. Nor is Multi User Picker field an option if I want the import to create a new custom field.

JIRA Importers Plugin versions prior to 4.1.3 had this option. It seems to be missing now.

Is there any way to import into a Multi User Picker field from a CSV file using the external system import?

Hey,

Have you tried JIRA Importers Plugin 4.1.4 (released yesterday)?

In JIRA Importes Plugin 4.1.x we actually started to show only these custom fields which were actually supported (and multi user picker was not). In JIM 4.1.4 we added support for Multi User and Group Picker fields - https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JIM-620

Let us know if it works for you.

Cheers,

Wojtek

Thanks for asking. After I posted this question I went to the plug-in exchange to try reading release notes for 4.1.3. At that point I noticed 4.1.4 that was released yesterday. I can confirm that it works!

Hi Wojtek,

Is the plugin v4.1.4 backward-compatible for Jira 4.4.5?

Thanks,

Heidi

WRT backward compatibility - nope. Sorry, there are no plans to back-port it.
