Is it possible to create a new servicedesk item directly from the backlog in Jira ?
Sometimes backlog items have not yet been gathered in a sprint but needs direct attention bij the team. It would be nice if we can push these backlog items towards the servicedesk que.
Only thing for now that we can relate/link backlog items to servicedesk issues.
Big thanks in advance
Hello Manuel,
Thank you for raising this question.
as @Elifcan Cakmak mentioned before, you can use the option Move in the three dots menu of the issue detail view to send it to Service Desk:
You are trying to create new issues on Service Desk directly from the backlog view instead of moving existing ones, you just need to click on + Create new issues.
Why think hard when the solution is simple.... Thanks!

Hello,
As I understand, you have two different projects; one for Jira issues and one for Service Desk, am I correct?
If so, you can easily move the issue to the service desk project. You need to have "Move Issues" permission on the Jira project and "Create Issues" permission on the Service Desk project.
After that I believe you need to update request type manually.

Elifcan

Is there a way to temporarily move it or even better by recreating it to Service Desk for resolution and then update the issues in Jira Project after resolution?
