Good day all
While using Jira Automation I have a web request action.
The error I am getting is:
Error response HTTP body:{"message": "Endpoint request timed out"}Error publishing webhook. Response HTTP status:504
When I do the same call from Postman I do however get a success.
Is there a way to increase the timeout on Jira Cloud?
Hi Joan,
Did a quick check and found out that this was a feature released recently on the cloud (+/- 1 year).
Have a look on the below URL: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-6836 and browse throughout the comments. You will find your answer there 100%.
Found another article regarding webhooks timeout: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/Is-there-a-way-to-increase-the-timeout-of-a-webhook/qaq-p/712368

Hi John,
Thank you for your assistance on this.
Our session duration is set to 30 days.
If this is not the reason for the Endpoint request timeout, what else could cause this error?
Warmest regards,
Joan

Hi John,
I also had a look at: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/Is-there-a-way-to-increase-the-timeout-of-a-webhook/qaq-p/712368 and it seems to only be the config for server, and not for cloud.
Warmest regards,
Joan
