How to make mandatory field for "SelectList" custom field type.

I have used "SelectList" cusotm field type in transition screen.

It contains "None" as first option in select list field.

I have marked "Required" in field configuration. Though, it allows to select "None" while submit the transition. i want it to be mandatory validation to select other then "None" in transition screen.

OP didn't seem to be asking how to remove NONE.

You have to define a default value for the customfield in the field configuration.

Strange, if the field is marked as required, none should not be a valid option...
