How to re-enable HTML email notifications?

At some point in the past (on the old UI) I've changed my email preferences from HTML to text. I'd like to re-enable the HTML notifications, but am not able to find any related option in the user settings.

but I don't have the "Email Type" option in the "Update User Preferences" settings dialog window.

How do I change it back to HTML?

Which Application do you have? Cloud or Server?

I think it's cloud (it's hosted under *.atlassian.net). How can I tell for sure?
