How to set estimated time in a task?

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me out with setting the estimated time in jira tasks creation. I created a task but the estimated time field specifies not estimated.   How do I set it while creating it ?

Hi @Athul Muralidharan

Ask you jira admin to add 'Time tracking' field to your screen (create/edit screen)

That will actually add 2 fields - 'Original estimate' and 'Remaining estimate' to the task create/edit screen and you can use them to enter the values
