To the following information:
Worklog entry: [no of hours]
Change by: [name]
Remaining Estimate: [hours, minutes]
Time spent: [all time spent on an issue]
I would like to have added the follwing:
Work date: [date on which the hours are actually spent]
Is this possible and how should I go about this?
Yes, that should be possible.
Refer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/customizing-email-content-802592932.html and https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/adding-custom-fields-to-email/
Let me know how it goes..
Thanks for your answer but...both links lead to a page not found?
If you can access it maybe you can copy the content and send it to me?
Best regards,
Darius

I get the feeling that this wouldn't work because I run a cloud version?

Sorry, this is not possible on JIRA cloud.

couldn't this be integrated then by the developers? I mean if develiopers are entering multiple worklogs I cannot see from which workdata so everytime I have to enter the issue on Jira, scroll down and search for the data to which this worklog refers to. That is very time-consuming and, in a high performance environment, slowing me down.
Pls ask the developers to fix this.
