In Jira is it possible to auto assign to an Approver if a Pull Request is submitted in BitBucket?

One of our Developers has said it would be really helpful if when a colleague submits a Pull Request in Bitbucket for the corresponding Jira ticket to be auto assigned to him as the Approver. 

Does anyone know if this at all possible for Jira/ Bitbucket? 

I assume it's a workflow query but wasn't sure if it was even possible. 

The ideal would be a Developer submits a Pull Request in BitBucket (and although the Approver already gets a notification), they would also have the corresponding ticket auto assigned to them in Jira so that it comes into their work.

Hope this makes sense?

It should be possible by creating an automation rule which uses:
