Insight Objects are hidden

Jacob Francois March 5, 2025

I've been using insight objects for a while now. I have it set up in my sandbox perfectly. I  know the objects are there because when ever an end user need to select an object via the service desk portal all the options show up. When i'm actually inside the object scheme for some reason it is hidden. In my screen shot you can also see that within the EU objects i can see all the inbound references but for some reason on the side of the screen i don't see the actual different object type. I also added a screen shot on how it looks in sandbox.Screenshot 2025-03-05 at 4.15.22 PM.pngScreenshot 2025-03-05 at 4.13.02 PM.pngScreenshot 2025-03-05 at 4.13.18 PM.png

Hi @Jacob Francois

this sounds like some kind of strange issue - maybe related to some kind of permission. I would therefore like to see some kind of start of troubleshooting.

What happens if you click on the references in your failing environment? Does it list the objects correctly? And if so, can you open the objects from that list?

Can you perform an AQL search like the following? objectType = "CN - Prod Report"

Do you use different users for administration and using this?

What happens, if you create an Asset custom field and try to select the values from inside Jira (not the Service Desk)?

Regards,

Stefan
