Is there a way to auto-populate a field based on a form field value

I am trying to see if Jira Service Desk is able to auto populate a field when a form is submitted based on a value of a form.  

E.G.  Submitter chooses Line Of Business -> Business Development Operation.  On submittal, we would like to have a custom field pre-populate - BDO Group Level 1

The challenge is our company doesn't allow us to use external APIs or scripts.  Is there a way to do this natively.  I looked at the Automation menu but couldn't find anything that would allow me to do this.

It can be done using a plugin. There is no way that it can be done using Jira out of the box.
