Is there any way to edit the priority of a ticket when looking at the queue view?

When you are on the queue view, seeing all the tickets, you can switch the Status and the Assignee of a ticket. I'm wondering if I could also set up the queue to make the Priority field to be updated like that.

Currently, if we want to edit the priority, we have to open the page of each ticket individually and change it there.

In the picture below, I can change the status on this page. Is it possible to setup in a way that the Priority can be changed like that as well?

Hi Gustavo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

No, the fields that can be updated are very few while in the queue. And Priority is not one of them.

Hi @Gustavo Grasser

welcome to the community!

As already suggested, this isn't currently possible - however if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you'll have options available.

E.g., you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields - including all JSM fields - much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a long list of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

This is how it looks in action:

JXL sheets are easily accessible from the project sidebar, and many of our customers successfully use them as a "supercharged" extension or alternative to queues. As every JXL sheet is powered by a JQL statement or saved filter, you can also easily model cross-project sheets, if that's something you might be interested in.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
