Issue comment deleted notification doesnt work

We use a custom email notification scheme for our projects. I enabled notifications for all watchers and current assignee for the issue comment deleted event but no notification email is received. I do get emails for issue commented and issue comment edited events. I tried notification helper and it says I receive notification for the above event but did not get any emails yet. I also have checked mail queue and havent seen anything in there. Help!

8.0.2 Jira ...the same problem here :(
