Jira Portfolio Scenarios without commits

Is there a way to create a scenario that has 0 chance of being committed. The reason is the ability to do some really abstract planning without having any chance of committing these changes and screwing up our jira issues.

My understanding is once you commit a scenario there is no way to revert the changes. Is that correct ?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately this isn't possible with Portfolio at the moment and there are no workarounds I can suggest. You are correct in your understanding – there is no way to revert once you commit a scenario.

Our plan permissions can only be ‘edit’ or ‘view’, and as a result, you cannot have a user who is able to edit but not save their changes.
