I have created a webhook rule to create a new Jira ticket anytime a user feedback comes in via GetFeedback/Usabilla. Looks like the feedback is coming in successfully, but Jira isn't giving me enough information on where exactly the rule is failing.

This is what my audit log looks like:

Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

Hi Aykan

Are you able to provide more information

1. The the steps of the automation rule

2. The selected option in the incoming webhook rule step e.g.

Execute this automation rule with:

  • Issues provided in the webhook HTTP POST body
  • Issues provided by running the following JQL
  • No issues from the webhook

Thanks for your response. There are only two steps set up and they are as follows:

When a feedback comes in via "incoming webhook" a jira ticket needs to be created and assigned to me. The automation rule is set up as "Issues provided in the webhook HTTP POST body". Please advise any help.

Thanks!

Hi Aykan

Seems you are just wanting to create a Task issue type when the webhook is triggered and the POST you are sending doesn't have any issue data provided which is fine but in that case please try using the option

  • No issues from the webhook
