We have Jira Software and Jira Service Management on Data Center, three different copies/environments. We have our Dev environment which gets refreshed quarterly. We have our QA environment which gets refreshed monthly and then our Prod environment. We are interested in having permissions configured different for each environment, so some users can have administration access in Dev but not QA or Prod. Part of our refresh process is going through and doing the clean up work/setting configurations such as updating the base URL, changing the license key, fixing the connection to Confluence, etc. We would like to add an easy way to update all permissions quickly during this process while also distinguishing between the different environments.
How do you all handle this?
@Kristin Lyons You have 3 separate instance of jira DC, one for dev, one for QA, and one for production ?
