We have two separate teams that are supposed to work on same sprint but their working days are different, the first team works from (Sunday till Thursday) and the second team works from (Monday till Friday), they both will work on same sprints which will have same start and end dates , we are using JIRA Server and I have the following questions:
1.Can I create parallel sprints each one dedicated to each team's work? Does each sprint will have its own burn down chart and velocity chart? If this option is not a good one, what would be the alternatives?
2. When setting the working days , how I should set them for each team? Can I have separate working days for each team?
3. How could I set the boards for each team?
I look for your kind reply soon

Hi @Ruba ElNasser, that's right, you can have separate Burndown Chart and Velocity Chart reports when having parallel sprints and two boards in a single project.
For backlog clarity teams could use their own components or labels in their board filters so that adding the relevant issues to their own sprint is easier.

Hi @Ruba ElNasser, you can create two parallel sprints in the same project for your teams on Jira Server. As an admin you can enable and disable parallel sprints in Jira Software configuration as described here.
To set different working days for each team, you need to create two boards in your project. In board configuration you will need to set the working days and time zone (if needed) accordingly.
You can switch between the boards using the top icon in the project navigation bar. If both boards have the same filter, the teams will be able to see each other's work on the backlog. You can read more about working days configuration in Jira Server documentation.

@Kasia Derenda ,Thanks a lot for your kind reply, re the reporting like burn down chart and velocity, by having two boards and two parallel sprints, I still can have separate burn down and velocity charts for each team, right?
