About a week ago, new support requests are all of the sudden being shared with the Organization rather than just our Help Desk techs.
Has anyone run into a similar issue?
Did you have checked the permissions in your help desk project?
If you want a specific team to work and see only a specific project you have to define project roles in the permission sheme of that project. Check also that your permission scheme isn't shared by other projects as well.
It was the Organization Added option under Project Settings / Customer Notifications
