All of a sudden, nobody can see any issues.
Permission problems and some core categories are missing.
When i click on Projects, i get a white screen (below). I thought the server had crashed yesterday, but i have the same error today.
Hi Rajesh,
You would see that exact behaviour if you don't have the Browse Projects permission in the permission scheme for that project. (You might have deleted the group that gave you that permission before.)
When you're a Jira administrator without Browse Projects permission you can still see the project in the list and access its settings for admin purposes, but you can't see any of the issues.
If that's the case, you just need to grant an appropriate group the Browse Projects permission in the permission scheme and the issues will be visible again.
I hope that helps!
Hi Eleanor,
I can't do that on the free plan. Atlassian has to restore the old groups i deleted or create some new groups for me.
We are really stuck at this point.

Tried changing permissions of the project: and it send me to admin.
There is nothing in admin to select project. I have a group for all jira-users
Please advise.
Thanks,
Rajesh

Hi @Rajesh Shah
Are you able to see the projects in the administration section?

hmm. could you try to access the instance from your mobile through your mobile internet? Just to rule out a network firewall block issue..
If it still appears in phone, could you look at the browser developer console for any errors?

All 3 members of my current team, in 3 different cities, and 3 different OS have the same problem.
And this happened this week, so am pretty sure its not a new firewall issue.
Likely something with groups and permissions ... the only thing i was playing around with (other than issues).

Tried from my mobile and got a little more than a blank screen. Project is deleted or permissions have changed.

It seems project roles are not editable in the free cloud version. So what can we do?

Looks like my cleanup caused a mess. We migrated from server and i was cleaning up users (we had 22, now only 3) and groups. And deleted some migrated groups.
So now:
1. either the deleted groups need to be restored
2. the projects need to be made open to all users
I can't see the need to upgrade to a paid plan just to let our 3 users access our own data. Better back to server or ...

Even admins, site admins, jira admins, ... cannot access the projects. This really sucks.

Could you start a trial of Standard plan and make changes to the permissions? If you dont find a trial, i would suggest to change to standard plan , fix the permissions and then request for change back to free plan.

@Fazila Ashraf @Eleanor Thomasson
I started the Standard plan and have been going all over, every menu to set permissions.
Totally stuck and frustrated.
Please help.

Seems like all that is imported / migrated from the server is alien data.

It is really risky to make any delete operations on any system :(
Is re-migrating from the original source an option?
