Hi All,
I am developing a jira instance for a large organisation. We use people picker to select the issue manager, however we have quite a lot of people who have similar names and it would be to hard to differentiate using usernames as it matches our staff number, is there a way i could include an additional field describing which team they are part of.
so that will read Daniel Drysdale - daniel.drysdale@pwc.com (ddrysdale003) - "Team"
Hi Daniel,
You can create own plugin with own Custom Field Type implementation.
Thanks, im not really sure on how to start this but i will try to read around!

Hi Daniel
I think you can solve this using the user properties https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/update-roles-and-properties-for-jira-users-744721647.html +JIRA Scriptrunner behaviour
