Any way I can exclude weekends in open tickets?

Is there any way I can exclude non-working days from a ticket TAT? Example: Ticket 1 is been shown as pending for 5 days but it actually has a weekend involved. So I was wanting to configure the system in such a way that the pending days in shown as 3 and not 5.
