We've found out it isn't possible to automatically link an organization to an issue when a contact is added.
We would like to know if it is possible to automatically do this? When a contact is added, this should also add the organization this contact belongs to.
We've added the Atlas CRM addin in which we add the contacts + organizations.
Should we maybe use an automation rule?
It doesn't work. I checked if there where more companies linked to the domain, but no. When it doesn't work it makes the product (for us) worthless.

Or are you using Atlas CRM and would you like to automatically link a company?

In this case you can use the Automatically link issues functionality in Atlas CRM.
When a user creates an issue in Jira Service Desk, Atlas CRM will try to find a contact that has the same email address and link that contact to the issue. Then it will try to link a company based on the contact or the domain of the reporter.

Dit is inderdaad waar ik naar op zoek ben. Ik heb gelijk even getest door een contactpersoon te koppelen, maar ik zie niet dat het bedrijf automatisch wordt gekoppeld:

Er kunnen meerdere redenen zijn dat het bedrijf niet gelinkt wordt. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer er meerdere bedrijven aan het contact gelinkt zijn, dan weet Atlas CRM niet welk bedrijf gelinkt moet worden.
In dit geval kan er gelinkt worden op basis van het domein van de reporter en van het bedrijf. Maar dan moet dit wel aangezet worden in de instellingen en een website ingevuld zijn voor het bedrijf.
