Automation for CSV import to create issues

I’m trying to automate the CSV import to create issues in Jira. I’m looking for ways to do it.

Hi Sai, can you please add a bit more details on your need to create issues? Why do you need to use CSV for that? Is it like you do planning in excel and then need to do some bulk import, or do you want to automatically populate the tasks from another system into Jira? 

As you may know, Jira has API which could be a good start for any automation, but having additional details from you will help us to provide you with the most efficient solution in this thread.

We're planning to bring the other system data to Jira. for that, we get the data in an excel spreadsheet that data should be created in Jira. currently, we're planning to manually do it but we would like to automate the process. please let me know if you know a way to do it.

While automation doesn't currently support CSV imports, you can either use the API linked above, or read more about manually importing data from a CSV here:
