Automation - transition parent issue when sub-tasks are closed, but without modal dialog confirmation

Hi, I'm using Automation for Jira to transition parent tasks to Done when all sub-tasks are moved to Done. I wonder if it's possible to perform the transition automatically without need to manually confirm it in appearing modal dialog.

Hi @Alexandr Karlin -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Would you please post and image of and describe the modal dialog which is appearing, and under what conditions?

I hypothesize that has nothing to do with the automation rule, and instead is related to something in your workflow, or perhaps from an addon.  Instead I would expect an automation rule which tries to make a change to an issue that has a required field would fail with an error in the audit log.

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your answer. Please see the following image describing the modal dialogue appearing when drag-n-drop a sub-task which is the last one for a parent task, on the project board.

Thanks for that information, Alexandr.

That modal dialog is built into Jira, and there are several suggestions to disable it, for example:

You may vote for/watch those to see any progress.

Thank you, Bill! Thumbed up for both suggestions.
