CAN NOT Set up a pre-set list of approvers

Hi, we are trying to set a review step before sending to next step a ticket that come in from an indecent creation by email. We have seen the docuemntation to setup approvers for that review step but it does not show us the options to set it, as it should be:

 

  1. Add a user picker custom field to the request.

  2. Next to the field, click Actions > Hide.

  3. Enter the users who can approve the request, then click Set. The approvers will display in the issue and are notified when the request needs approval.

We do not see the action>hide after creation of custom field and also we can not see approvers list.

 

Is there an option to be enabled so we can get this feature on. We have global permissions already but can not see it.

@Sanny Dominguez - go to the request type you want to modify (Project Settings > Request Types). Next to the request type you want to change:

  • Click "Edit fields"
  • Click "Request form"
  • Click "Add a field"
  • Add "Approvers" (or whatever custom field you created)
  • Next to the newly-added custom field, click "Hide" and you'll be prompted to add users.

Thank you Dave it worked appreciate it. Another question, is it possible to add approvers to a workflow step and not to a specific request... i meant i can set approvers in the transition workflow but can not see where to set the list of approvers.
