Can we make a custom field added under the team managed project as mandatory/required?

Hi,

Created a single select custom field under the project (Team Managed Project)

(Project settings> Issue Types > Fields in the right panel. )

Is there any way to make it a required field for the issue type?

It is available on company manage projects. There is ticket raise to have required fields in team managed projects:
