Create User via Jira REST API

Hi ,

I am trying to create jira cloud user by rest api , and i am getting error : {"errorMessages":["com.atlassian.crowd.exception.DirectoryNotFoundException: Directory <IDP Directory> does not exist"],"errors":{}}

Attaching the snapshot of the error as well . 

Please let me know if i am missing something , i checked the API and looks like i am using correct format.

Hi Anshita,

This error is related to an incident that was reported Wednesday, which was preventing the creation of users via REST API.
Although we have not been able to identify the reason why this problem is happening, we're working alongside our developers to have this situation normalized.

Can you please test the REST API again to check if you are still facing this issue?
If the REST API still doesn't work, please create the users via UI as a workaround for now.

We have the same issue, out of nothing we started to receive this error.

Except we are using API v2 . (/rest/api/2/user), but same error, same response

We was already being using this API for months, something must have changed in jira side.
