Is it possible to setup a customized Jira field dropdown to dynamically collect the data from Excel? For example, I would like to add a drop-down field added to an issue type and the data on the drop-down field should collect from an excel sheet in SharePoint

As @Marcus Jacobs said above, you can use Elements Connect to dynamically retrieve and display external data within Jira custom fields. However, at this time, our integration supports connections to databases and REST APIs. If you have a database system where you can export your Excel data, you'll be able to configure the connection through Elements Connect and populate your custom fiels accordingly.
