A field that I have added to a screen is appearing in the preview of the collapsed Details section on the issue screen, but not on the screen itself.
I have checked the configuration (it's not hidden and it's associated with my project, it's not hidden in the issue layout)...it's just not there.
Any ideas?

Check the context for the Custom Field to be sure it is mapped to the project and/or issue type.
Go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields
Search for the field and click the 3 dots to the right. Select Contexts and default value
The three dots category has changed from Contexts to Configure. Just FYI. This worked perfectly for fixing the field not appearing. Thank you!
