FirstResolved field timestamp is missing in JIRA

Pavithra_UST April 10, 2018

Hi All,

Greetings!

We are facing an critical issue in work. please help to suggest your advise.

Issue : timestamp is missing in JIRA.

JIRA version is : 6.2.5

How time stamp got missed : we replaced new workflow (in the new workflow, some un-used status were removed). for example, previously in AE workflow, there was a status called "HOLD FOR PF", in the new AE workflow, it's not in use and it got removed.

After replacing the new workflow, the customized timestamp which is retrieved from status transition is missing.even reverted to the old workflow, the timestamp could not be recovered.

some of the time stamps are missing (example : custom field - FirstResolved).now somehow we have to bring back the timestamp back to JIRA. we tried many ways but couldn't get it. could you please help to advise on the solution.

Is there possible to add in data base directly ? (please be informed , we know the correct time stamps we may manually put into JIRA to display in front end). Please advise the solution.

example screen shot as below, here you can see the field called FIRST resolved is missing. Its custom field in JIRA.

CUSTOM FIELD:
image.pngYou can see in above screen shot, the transition times are reterived from custom field (First Resolved).
solution : we would like to add the missing time in JIRA. Please advise on this.

Thanks much for reading & suggesting solution.

Hello @Pavithra_UST

Have you tried the default JIRA functionality "Where is my field" (under the admin tab) on the issue view screen to find out the reason why the custom field (FirstResolved) is not visible any more? Please try that and share the results so that we can troubleshoot further.

Dear @Tarun Sapra,

Thanks for replying.

I just looked into the "where is my field"  as you advised.

Attaching the screen shot for your reference. Let me know if you need more details to check...

The field is present on the correct field screen but the value isn't getting calculated, is this field coming from a plugin, is the plugin disabled?

I think, the below custom field is retrieve the timestamp.
Seems. required plugin (Script-Runner) is already enabled.
