Flow semantics of if-else

Hi
I really feel this is a silly question, but i can't find an answer in the documentation.

In the image i have an if-else if-else on the returned status code of a webhook.

I the non branching part i also have a update statement of the field.  If this was a regular programming language there is no doubt that the execution flow always executes the last update.
The graphical representation does not show that the branching execution returns to main flow.

I think that from my tests that it does. I have been looking for a clear answer in the documentation but I cant find it.

I my regular interpretation of the flow logic correct. The last statement on the regular flow path is run no matter the outcome of the if-else if-else.

Thanks for any clarification.
