Hi,
I want to build an automation that will only process email requests. I know Jira knows how the request was sent because it's displayed in the ticket (raised this request via Email).
Can I test this value in my automation?
We chose to have the same request type in the portal and from email so I cannot test using the request type

According to this KB there is a smart value for the channel through with a JSM request is submitted.
In that case they are using the smart value to set a field. But you should be able to also use that in a Smart Value condition. I haven't actually tested that out.
I was able to test using the smart value: {{properties."request.channel.type".value}} but that smart value isn't searchable in the smart value dictionnary. Too bad some fields are hidden.
