Currently, the original estimate does not include the estimation of sub-tasks. But the remaining estimate does include sub-task estimations, but it aggregates all sub-task estimations regardless of the assignee.

Is there a configuration setting or a workaround available that allows me to view the total estimation solely for the issues assigned to me for a specified sprint?

Hi @Simon Ma

There is no way to display it just for sub-task you are assigned to. If you choose to sum estimate at the story level from sub-task it will sum all of them. You can review some apps to see if it can fulfill your requirements.

I think this one sum also all the estimate but group them by assignee so for a story you will be able to see the sum of estimate for you but also for any user assigned to a subtasks. It also do a lot of other things

If you have people with dev skills and Scriptrunner you could create a Script fragment that does what you are looking for.

Hi @Simon Ma

if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

With these, you can build a view like e.g. this in just a couple of clicks:

Note that this is really just one of a virtually infinite number of possible views and reports - you can also view and group by any other field(s), configure different sum-up styles, and much more.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
