our users ask to have the issue type indication in the subject of the emails sent from Jira Software Cloud.
I do not see any controls to tweak for the purpose.

Oh, well you can't put custom fields in the out of the box notifications. You should vote for and follow this:

These are all standard notifications that you cannot change. You would need to open a support request with Atlassian to request the feature change.
