How to update a description for a Field on a Screen

We have a custom field called Fixed In Build.

The previous description for Fixed In Build was "The intended release/marketing version for a particular issue."

In the Custom fields settings, I updated the description to "Build number in which the issue was fixed."

However, the old description is still showing up in a Screen used in a transition.

How do I get the custom field's description to update on the Screen?

Hi Season,

This is a bug in Jira. You will need to edit the Field Configuration for the project and put in the new description for the field there.

Create a separate field configuration for your project and edit the description of the field on your project field configuration . That will at least change the description of the field for your specific project .
