I want to change assigns according to status of the ticket

I want to create an automation/rule that whenever any ticket's status is changed to "send for testing" then it should be assigned to a particular user (tester) automatically.

I have created automation for it and has also created a group of Testers with the tester as a member in it. Still, it is not happening. 

Can someone pls help me with this?

Hi @Prashant ,

in my opinion, you could just use a post function that change assignee value each time that transition happens.

Please read the following guide https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-advanced-issue-workflows/ 

You should use Updare Issue Field post function selecting your desired assignee.

Thanks -- was able to do by this flow -- i think i was doing over-engineering for simple requirement
