Import of Tests (HP ALM) with customized fields using XRAY importer or CSV file

When importing from 

1- HP ALM - using the XRAY import tool 

does importer allow to choose for mapping between custom fields available within the Test Details tab of test from HP ALM ? or is there some preconfiguration that needs to be done ? 

2- CSV file - generated from HP ALM 

does importer allow to choose for mapping between custom fields available within the Test Details tab of test from HP ALM ? or is there some preconfiguration that needs to be done using the JIRA importer plugin ?

Hi Syed,

1) It is not possible to choose the mapping however this is in our backlog to address in the future.
2) From CSV file it is possible using either Xray Test Case importer or Jira Importer but the respective formats must be respected:

Hi Syed,

1. Currently we are into HP-ALM, Doing POC on XRay Plugin as we are planning to move from ALM To XRay, Need some facts about XRay compare to HP ALM?

1. What extra benefits we get if we move from HP-ALM To JIRA XRay?

2. Currently we have an environment of HP-ALM Integration with UFT For test execution automation once we come out from HP-ALM, will it possible to integrate XRay with UFT? and maintain same environment like earlier?

3. Do we have any document on XRay with UFT Integration?

4. What level of support we can expect from XRay support team on Integrations?

Please help by answering these questions.
