Hi all.
New to JSD and trying to brand our help centre. We use the Cloud instance of Jira/JSD
I came across this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/best-practices-for-designing-the-customer-portal-732529000.html
Under the "Brand your help center" section, the screenshot they have show a 'card layout' under the search bar. Is it possible to have this layout as well?
Thanks!
Hello Gil,
Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
This is the new layout of the JSD Customer portal and maybe it was not automatically enabled on your instance.
On the customer portal, click on customize on the right side and you will see an option "Try the new help center", then just click to enable.
Please, give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Angélica
Hi Angélica,
This option is not available to me.
I guess it's under testing and closed beta group.

Hi Gil,
If you click on "Help Center" on the top left you should be redirected to the main page where it shows the card layout.
If it's not available for you yet, your instance will receive the new help center on February 26.
Key dates
Right now, you’re able to switch between the new experience and old experience as you wish. But we’re going to be moving all customers of Jira Service Desk to the new experience. All customers will have the new help center in Jira Service Desk by February 26, 2019.
If this impacts you, it might be important for you to know what’s on our schedule. Here’s what we have planned:
- January 17, 2019 - you will no longer be able to switch back to the old help center
- February 13, 2019 - we will start gradually moving users to the new help center
- February 26, 2019 - everyone will be using the new help center
- Our new help center is ready for your customers to experience
Regards,
Angélica
