Is there a way to change the label of a non-custom field?

We would like to change the label of the Description field to something else. Anyone know of a way to accomplish this without using a language translator? Note ...  we are hosted in the cloud, so I don't think changing the source code is an option.

Side note ...  we know we can add a custom field for our need, but since we don't have the ability to alter the placement of the Description field on the screen, our case leads us to needing to change the label.

You would need to modify the source code. I don't recommend it. You can add a description of the field in the field configuration scheme that will appear under the field name.

Thanks ... I forgot to mention we are hosted in the cloud. So, still searching for an option that will work for us.

The cloud means you can't modify code so I expect you're out of luck on all accounts. I seriously doubt the cloud would allow a plugin, if there is one, to be used.

Yep ... that's what I'm thinking too. I reposted and specified that we are hosted just to see if anyone has any thoughts. Thanks for responding!
