I would like to have a screen popping up in the case that an issue was assigned but it’s status was not changed allowing users to fill in some extra information (fill in some fields)
Is it possible to do it?
the solution is to create a self transition "from and to the same status you are in" and add a screen on it.
Note: "to create a self transition start and end of the transition will be on the same status you are in"

This I already did. Now I wish to catch the cases when they do not use this and simply add a comment and assign to someone. Please see my reply below in the thread where I detail everything

Dear @Hadas Hamerovv
as a workaround you can add a condition on the other transition that the self transition should be run before the other transition, on that way the other transition will not appear till the user run the self transition, thatis how to force your users run the self transition firstly.

I am trying to catch cases when ther is not transition. When one user simply assign to another.
when there is a transition it’s already solved.

Yes, ask your people to click on "edit".

he needs it automated

Why? Why would you want to inflict an interruption on people for no reason?

I'm not assuming there is no reason. I am asking why you think there's a good reason to do this?
If we know why you are trying to do this, then there's a chance we could point you at something that

Ok,
Basically out users move issue in the flow except when they are missing information.
1. So the assumption is that if they assign an issue to someone else without moving it from its status they are probably asking for more information.
2. For more information request I've created a looped transition. When pressing the 'more information needed' button the user is prompt with a screen having 3 fields:
A. Who do you ask
B The question (a comment field)
D Is there a time by which you need to answer back
Once the user fill in these fields the issue is assigned to the other person, the status and the status is changed to 'more info required' and the 'more info' button changes into 'answering'. (Also the question is added to the issue comments of course)
The other user now need to click the 'Answering' button and answer the question in the screen that pops up. Doing so, the issue is assigned back to the person who asked the question and the status is set to the last status.
This reduced so many clicks to the users so they use it a lot.
In addition, if the person asking the question fill in the date and time by which he is expecting the answer and if the second person does not answer by that time the automation assign the issue back the one who asked the question and sets the status back to the main flow status (from where the issue diverted aside). Also sends a slack message to both users to pay attention.
So far so good. The users love it.
Now, few of them still do not use it and simply ask a question in the comment and assign to the other user. What I wanted is to catch those cases and prompt a screen allowing them to set the time limit for answering (if they want) or dismiss it. This way they will benefit from this automation that reminds everyone if something is stuck.
Hope now it is clearer and makes sense.
Cheers

Hi Hadas
its not possible to do but as a workaround you can use automation to notify specific people once this field change and write on the automated notification that you have to change a specific fields you want to change. please let me know if it satisfy your needs or not.

Thanks. I am afraid that would hassle my users. I need to find a better way.
