We just started to use Jira Service Desk and we have created some components and if a specific component is selected in the customer portal the issue i assigned to either component lead, project lead, or unassigned. (This is default). But we also want to notify more agents but it's not possible to choose here. So how can we notify more agents dependent on component?
ex. if component is X then when issue is created default assignee should be the component lead and a notification should go to the component team.

Without add-on it will be hard to achieve. I think you can check Automation for JIRA - Cloud lite. It is free add-on. Maybe this will help you.

Actually, you can do the following with the native Automation. you will have to create unique rules for the different alert scenarios you need.
