JIRA 7.6: multiple projects board but need filters

Zara February 2, 2019

In JIRA 7.6:

I am creating a board for the services team. Each of the 7 projects will use "Component" field to add the services team.

This board for the services team will include the 7 projects. How can I create a quick filter for to filter out the Component for the services team?

Is it a simple JQL query using Component= Service Team for the Quick Filter?

Basically want the services team to have their own backlog that comes from the various projects.

@Zara

Yes, it should be that simple , you could try it in your JQL and add the final JQL inside your board configuration

You can also, look into this one Multiple projects on a board

I hope this will help you

@Mohamed Adel

Thanks for the quick response.

But I will need to create the same or different Component in each of the Project for that 1 Services team?

Example:

Project 1- Apples     Component= Tree

Project 2- Bananas    Component= Tree

Project 3- Peaches    Component= Tree

Create a Scrum board with Project Apples, Bananas, Peaches. Which will give me everything from those 3 projects.

Now create a Quick filter with Component=Tree.

Would this give me everything that is Component=Tree for all of those three projects?
